Hiya, I think the desk Rosie did works best, and I think the solution of the problem should be like a  pre-paid student oyster, where its done like the tutition fees. It could be shown on the computer screen, like an online application for the yearly student pre-paid oyster? What do you think?

Trying to find a solution ? Hope this helps with any ideas -Rosie

So im trying to find a solution. In this drawing is two student rooms, one student suffering and showing the effects and one student who isnt struggleing.
The 'Kind of' solution i come up with is a 'Student yearly oyster card' which the London Transport have intoduced. If you buy a yearly travel card and are a student you get the original price half price, but adding eveything up this really wouldnt help. My aim was to get the price to a good one so we could get the yearly oyster from the begining and not worry about it for the rest of the year, saving your next two loans, BUT the price was double from what i thought it was. Anyway im putting this image up to try and give any one some ideas =)

Jenny Saville

I like the way she has showed a narrative using movement. I am not sure how but maybe we could try something out which this technique in mind? What do you all think? I think if it done well it could be really good. or could it be to confusing for it's viewer?

Hi everyone,

Would everyone who hasn't done a layout design (or doesn't mind doing more) be able to do a rough one and post it on blog this week? Then if possible would everyone be able to meet Thursday morning to discuss them. so we can look at incorporating some of the ideas into one layout?

Thanks Emma x

This is a layout idea using the photos of Mimis room.

Using some techniques from one of the Delta 7s room layouts, I come up with a basic 'Study room' for this student. Both pictures show a pile of unpaid bills, reminders on the cork board of what needs to be paid and what money has been used, on the computer the students online banking shows how much money overdrawn they are and there is no money in their savings account neither. The graph in the background is a poster, mainly symbolising the rising of costs to make a point to the veiwer, I took this idea from one of the Delta 7's poster. The door is the easy way out, to 'QUIT' uni and I have also used marinas hand illustrations. The top one shows the students hands and him sitting in the corner, showing depression and lonliness, the bottom one shows 3 students including the hand (all being the same student but moving around) I have speech bubbles to add to this and of course 'clutter and mess' but let me know what you think?????

following a brainstorm me and Rosie did on Thursday (which I or Rosie will scan in and upload).
I have done a rough layout design. it is very chaotic to emphasizes the stressful situation of meeting bills ect... i have used some of Marinas original images.  let me know what you all think.

if someone would like to develop further on this idea or have any ideas please do some layouts and upload them.
